When I got the water hooked up to my brand new mobile home, September 13, 2016, manufactured by Legacy Housing in Commerce, Tx, I discovered a water leak in my utility room caused by nails through both the cold and hot water lines going to the washer. I had to call a plumber and get this fixed immediately, which cost $98.

I sent this invoice for payment along with 15 other problems that needed to be fixed by them. I have phoned and e-mailed Cynthia Urias at cynthiaurias@***.com over 16 times, I have been promised a check in the mail and a call from Bill Shanaham and have been asked to contact Maricela Chavez at 817-632-****. Nothing has worked and no one will return your phone call. I only hope that I don't need any other repairs to my home.

This company is extremely unprofessional and has terrible customer service. They do not deserve any stars, but you must chose at least one or you can't post to the site.

Do NOT purchase a home manufactured by Legacy Housing, LTD at 103 N Neal St in Commerce, TX 75428. Brenda Shafer

Reason of review: Poor customer service.

Brenda- I confirmed with Legacy's accounting department a check was mailed to customer Brenda Shafer. CHECK 37271 DATED 12/09/2016 was issued to Brenda Shafer @ 2750 W.

LENINGTON RD.

SALLISAW, claim #145957-SNL27554 for $98.00 Glad this was handled for her! Unfortunately, she did not change her review which is troublesome as it still reflects badly on Legacy even though we did the right thing!

Yes, I got my refund for the water leak, but I didn't get everything fixed on my home. You could see daylight through the top of the front door so they put up a metal strip over the outside so it wouldn't leak, I had to fix the cabinet doors myself because no one would come back out to fix them.

I also had to have an electrician put in a new light switch in the kitchen which just fell out of the wall and the kitchen ceiling light fell out of the ceiling and my husband had to fix it. The ice maker was hooked up wrong and we had to fix it too. Even thought i got my $98 refund for the water leak because of the nails being shot through the lines when making the house I still had issues. The man that came out only fixed the front door with the gap and the back door that would not close and tacked up some siding that wasn't nailed and some panel strips.

He said someone else would have to come fix the rest. So YES, my review should still be troublesome and should still reflect badly on Legacy because Legacy did NOT do the right thing and stand by their warranty.

I bought one for 85,000 then Charged up about 20,000 on my Lowes Card so for 105,000 we are Living Large.I Love my Home now we couldn't be happier,We got the Expensive Crown Molding and had Crews of Lowes Contractors out here Working for Days but when we Ran the Card up we had to Shut the Project Down.We Just got our new Home Depot Card Yesterday so I will be back in my Recliner watching the Progress again.I also got me a Huge Double Carport added on and Bought myself a New Escalade but Don't Drive Much.Getting Surround Sound and a 80 Something Inch Big Screen but they have to Beef up the Wall First. Also have all new Ashley Furniture Coming Next Week. This is Gonna be a bad *** House. Also had an extra 2.5 ton A/C put in cause I like it really Cold on Levelized Electric so we pay same amount each month and pretty much Run Everything 24/7 at 87 I'm not really worried about Debt figure I deserve it so I just take it all in for now.I pay on stuff a lil here and there and not a big Worrier about it but the house has been a big Enjoyment just kinda Watching the Workers come out and add new Stuff. My Newest Idea is Having a few Skylights put in but we will see what all I can fit in on this new Card we got Yesterday.

In No Way do I Intend to Sound Harsh and I Know your Troubles are Real.I have Owned 3 Mfg Double Wides as Well as a Site Built Home.I Know with my Legacy the Dealer as a Courtesy Faxed over my Problems and I had a Better Experience than you Had.The Other 2 Not Legacy Homes I didnt Have a Very Good Experience Similar to yours. On my Site Built Home by a Builder Which also Carries a 1Yr Warranty Here is the Experience I Had,The Builder who basically hires Subs to Build the Home told me when I had Problems Oh that guy doesnt do Work for me anymore Idk who I can get out there? So its with all Houses Really to me.I see it Everywhere I go,Its the World we Live in seems like.Customer Service is not What it used to be.We Need to Make America Great Again.

My dealer is in Muskogee, Ok. This was a warranty issue and the dealer worked with me.

If not for him I never would have gotten my refund. He promised to refund my money if they didn't, he has issues with them also. My point I wanted to make is that the manufacturer of Legacy Homes is very irresponsible and lacking in professionalism, and curtesy.

All they want to do is sell the homes and NOT stand by their warranty. I will never buy another home from Legacy.

If you buy a Chevy and have Problems you go to the Dealership not Chevrolet,The Dealer gets there Money From Chevrolet and Take Care of your Troubles.I understand your Disappointment but Research Most Mobile Home Builders and they all Have Terrible Reviews.I Owned one a Clayton and it was Cheaply Made.I Truly Blame the Govt Agencies for Allowing The Low Craftmanship to Pass.

Yes The Govt comes out at a Fee and tells you that Cabinet Doors Falling Off and Doors not Closing etc is "Cosmetic"

Ive been Down that Road,Luckily I was able to sell it.I have a Slab House but the Quality isnt there Either,They are also Not Built like they used to be.

The Dealer only Sends over the Request to The Mfg,All Work Must Be Approved No Matter Who does it for Formal Payment.

My Dealers Phone is messed up when I call he says hello hello like he can't hear me then finally Hangs up.I've been to the Lot but they always say he's sick or out? Idk but I saw him at Wal-Mart and he took off through the Clothing Section and I lost site of where he went. Now his Phone goes straight to Voicemail and they are saying he Checked in Somewhere for Nerves and Maybe a Heart Condition.I hope he gets back soon theses Doors keep Coming off and some other Stuff but He did come over one time and said we was too Hard on Stuff and Needed to Settle down.He sent his Head Maint guy out and he said same thing Quit opening Cabinets and Stuff Said we was OCD? He Brought some Glue and Glued some Cabinets we don't use to keep us out of them he said. Our back door was acting up and he said there's some tricks to mobile homes he Grabbed the top and Swung it out and Hung on the top with his weight and it's Closes like a dream now. He's pretty Good floors Squeaked and he went under with a big pry bar and Cheater pipe and beat and banged under there and they are all gone ever last one.Had one window that wouldn't latch but he got her with a small bottle Jack and a 2x4 he said not to open that one anymore he had her Sealed up tight.
