ZERO!! We are in a lawsuit with them!!!
DO NOT BUY!!! You will get the run around...
nothing fixed, pointing fingers, ignore...
All windows leak, roof bowed, water damage, mold, trash and who knows under laminate and carpets. The 2 pieces not put together right. They left the wood pieces that hold plastic in travel on. Stopped counting nail holes at 52 in 1 trim piece.
Top and bottom moldings trim (can not remember what called) straight cut even in corners. Gaps everywhere. Frame bent, The MAIN I-BEAM, (was wrecked and was not told) Our after walk thru list was 57+ pages and was turned in 5 days after walk through. Dont buy!
If you do document, everything! Pictures, emails, calls, get home inspection...

My experience with Legacy, by the way, name is ironic; they have definitely created a legacy. My experience began in January 2023 when we bought our home from one of their dealers. We did a walk-through and created a punch list. This list was given to at least six different people. We found out that all these people had left Legacy for one reason or another. It took months before I could ever speak to someone about the list. I had to resend this list multiple times, and I believe they just threw it in the trash and told me that they had no record of the repairs I requested. After one and a half years, they sent someone to fix two items on our list; they sent the wrong parts. This happened three different times, and after the last time I called, they said the house was out of warranty. How convenient for them.
I could go on forever about their service, but I also want everyone to know their homes are built poorly. One of my big gripes from the jump was the floor. The flooring was no more than a heavier construction paper. It cost me $4,500 to put a good floor in. It would have cost twice that, but I purchased flooring on sale from Ollie's. Drawers are out of alignment, cabinet doors cracked, cabinets and moldings are as cheap as you can get. Lights installed out of level, windows leaking. You could see daylight through doors and frames.
I am totally baffled how this company is in business because of their construction and service.
Obviously, there are a lot of suckers in the world, and obviously, I turned out to be one myself.
Maybe if they could keep employees, maybe they'd be a better company, but it’s obvious that the owners don't care about the product they put out or the customers they've sold homes to.
- Layout of home is great
- Construction is terrible
Preferred solution: All issues repaired
User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY A LEGACY BUILT HOME

I bought my home in Oct 2022, I have yet to have got any of my repairs done. When they send people out they are there to take pictures and then say they are coming back and never show up.
I've been told multiple times on multiple occasions that they are coming to repair my floors and fix the roof and the ceilings and nothing happens. I was told by a guy named Howard to get estimates for the floors which I did and I sent them to him for him to tell me he was sending a guy out to replace all of the flooring which no one came. I have called a lot of times and sent emails with no response. This is a brand new house and it looks like crap.
I paid 60,000 down and finance 95,000. I just want my house fixed. I could go on and on about all the damages and I do have pictures of everything. This company should not be able to sell these homes much less be in business.
There isn't a straight wall in my house and everything leaks. Heating and air doesn't work properly and there's electrical problems. I don't know how my home pass inspection or if it was even inspected.
It looks like a bunch of children built it. It's a shame that hard working people have been scammed by this company
- Everything about this company sucks
Preferred solution: My house fixed like I was promised when I purchased it and not ***
User's recommendation: Do not purchase a home from this place unless u want poor quality and your damages not took care of
Never received check from my home legacy bought
DO NOT SEL YOUR HOME TO LEGACY COMMUNITIES!!!
They are not a responsive community and will not respond to any calls, emails, or letters. They will buy your home and the check will NOT clear and you will try everything possible to resolve the issue and they will tell you they have nothing to do with it and they will press charges if contacted again.
They treat the 55+ communities like trash.
They have no problem selling unfit homes to anyone who is willing to pay the price gouging rent.
They force entry into YOUR home and then send you the bill for the damages done for their maintenance check
Cathrine and John Marr are disrespectful, pathetic people who dont deserve the positions they hold.
Cathrine Marr was fired from a Walmart for harassing a customer and now holds the power to crash into peoples homes when she wants and has no problem evicting elders in the winter. John Marr has no problem telling women to shut their mouthes or that he will whip his junk out in front of someones wife for talking too long.
User's recommendation: Stay away from these people, legacy is awful.

Verified ReviewerThis company builds the cheapest, worst built homes in price ranges over $500k in Huntsville, Al. Cracking foundations, nothing is up to code.
Don't buy a Legacy built house. They do not even do the punch out warranty repairs.
I'm not sure how any codes and regulations were passed. Cracking in foundations, walls, plumbing, the list could go on and on. They lost home value and their $75k original down-payment the first year.
They bought this house in South Huntsville, Alabama 3 years ago. Do
No concern whatsoever for the residents safety.
Terrible. They buy up older parks and then jack up the lot rent to force out the lower income and elderly.
No repairs get done. No friendly customer service. No concern whatsoever for the residents safety. Dont enforce any rules and regulations and ultimately the park becomes run down, unsafe and an eye sore.
No concern after hurricane damage to provide support or clear away flooding issues. No water when power is out?
User's recommendation: Don’t buy anything with Legacy!!!!!!!

Verified ReviewerDon’t take care of customers
We did a walk-through with National Homes, from whom we bought our home. It was a joke.
We were told everything would be taken care of, but it was a big lie. Talking to Legacy, National Homes, and state inspectors was a joke. We are seniors on a fixed income. We have bad windows; we have to seal them with strips of insulation and plastic in order to keep the cold and dust out.
Our electric bill was sky-high. The seal was broken on two windows in the living room, and nothing was done about it.
Legacy never came out to see the issues, nor did National Homes. Heck, they've already got their money.
Preferred solution: Respect for seniors and windows fixed all windows
User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY A LEGACYHoME

Verified ReviewerNone communication with their customers
Major major issues with windows. Dust is blowing in and we have to put insulation and plastic around the windows to keep the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter.
An inspector came out.
Not once did Legacy Housing, the builder, come out, nor did National Homes, the seller, come out to inspect the issue. We're senior citizens on a fixed income and were treated with no respect.
Preferred solution: Windows taken care of, respect and an apology. I was in construction for over 50 year’s and not one time did we ever treat customers this wY

Verified ReviewerGreat job. Thank you
Alex and Mark were wonderful. They helped with paperwork and adjuster.
They did an excellent job in a short time. The vents on the roof were painted to complement the roof color, something I never even thought of.
They cleaned up afterwards, even the nails. Thank you very much for the wonderful job, Alex and Mark.

Verified ReviewerThey did me and many other customers wrong. They should not even be in business anymore.
They gave me a home that looked like it was a mistake to begin with. Every time I call to get my problems fixed, someone would show up with nothing but a hammer.
They didn't even have my home put together tightly and had to put in molding just to cover the holes in the gap between the two sections. The door frames were not even attached to the actual home itself. The siding was not cut correctly. Anne had ham remarks in it.
Almost every outlet is not straight.
And they refused to even trade out the mirrors in the toilet seats that were bad. And when you called them for repairs, they would never come out.
User's recommendation: Do not use them!!!!

Verified Reviewer |Trash from day 1
Ordered brand new 2011 home from Atchafalaya Homes in New Iberia, Louisiana, in December 2010. At least it was delivered as promised.
My 30 day inspection list was submitted, I specifically stated that the windows weren't sealed. Well here we are 13 years later, and I have damaging leaks around every single window, which in turn, has damaged every wall involved as well as the floor. I have reported numerous times throughout these years, even all the way up to the president of the company in 2015. He basically said NOT his problem.
NO ONE, at Legacy, Federal Investors, OR Atchafalaya Homes would ever even listen, much less look. The first major leak was wall by the front door. When had it replaced, there was a round hole, where i guess the outdoor fixture was suppose to go, and they apparently cut it wrong... so here we are...
BLACK MOLD!!! Thank you Legacy!
- Cheap
- But you get what you pay for
- Horribly put together i cant even say built
Preferred solution: Repairs! If they had done their job when asked, my house wouldn't be in this condition
User's recommendation: DO NOT BUY
The people are liars, especially the salesman in the warranty people
Told him we have water leaking in the front door. He did not care about the siding on the house; it took him two months to fix. Still, can't he get the shower door right?
- No pros at all
- Piece of crap
Preferred solution: Blank to get all problems fixed on my house
User's recommendation: Don’t waste your time

So the guy at legacy housing LLC tiny homes of Atlanta told me that the house is non-refundable and it's my responsibility to deal with the truck driver to get the damaged fixed because he broke an axle he bent the beer support bar and buckled the roof. And it's still sitting there because I have to make a police report
